Pathfinder Character: Xino

Hello!

It's PF time ~

So here is the first Pathfinder post on Nevermeltice of many to come!

I am actually still fairly new to Pathfinder, but as an occasional side-hobby it is a perfect fit for me, since I love to create stories and characters, play games, and go on virtual adventures. Apparently, I also really like to role play.

I was introduced to PF by my friend who's blog can't be that cute (! !)

I will post sometime in the very near future more not only about this character, Xino ("shee-noh"), but about the original form and backstory for him I came up with during a past compaign by my friend that was, at least for now, discontinued. That is, although the Xino you will see outlined below is a very Good character, the form I originally came up with was darker and even multi-classed.

For the upcoming adventure, I'll be using this Xino, a young teenage Xino - perhaps during his magic academy days of wizard training - and leave the darker, more mysterious, mischevious and jaded Xino for a later compaign. For convenience, I will call the second older one by a different surname, like just Xino with no last name, or Xino Alter or some sort of surname that conceptually indicates the distinction, or perhaps some sort of achievement or infamy.

Without further ado, Xino! I will be taking the details posted by Johnny on his implausibly cute blog for his own character for the campaign while he acts as the DM.

Lang-8

Lang-8 is an amazing site, an effective give-and-take learning community for the study of languages!

My name there is Saber0.

Basically, everyone has 'L points', which determine your L point ranking. The ranking determines how many people will see the posts you make that you wish to have assessed and corrected when people click 'correct' and view posts awaiting correction. The higher your L points, the higher on the list your posts will go and the more people's corrections you'll be likely to receive.

L-points go way up quite easily, all you have to do is make a few corrections on posts in your native language. Another determining factor for L points is the 'quality' assessment of your corrections by others. That is, whenever you make corrections for someone, others can vouch for those corrections. Everything can be commented on, and there are buttons for thanking and 'liking' corrections or comments.

Furthermore, in addition to being able to access your past posts and received corrections easily, you have a 'notebook' wherein you can store select corrections that you've chosen to store there. A post written in your language of study is corrected by others line by line, and comments can thereby also be line-by-line. Each correction set on each single line of your post can be individually stored into the notebook - that's how it works! It's great!

You don't even have to correct every line of someone else's post, you just correct and/or comment on whatever you like. Commenting is not just for each line, there's also a larger message entry box at the bottom of the post for commenting on the post/corrections as a whole.

My first time using Lang08 and posting in Japanese, I received full corrections from 6-8 people (I don't remember exactly how many) within the first 15 minutes!
It's crazy!:)

So basically...

I really recommend Lang-8 if you wish to improve in a language!

Reading Week

Hey~ Yukigami desu!

So it's Reading Week now, and that means that I have this coming week off from school. Of course, I have multiple essays to work on and a lot of studying to do, especially for stats...

The days leading up to Reading Week were terribly busy and full of tests and things, and as soon those days ended, it was Valentines day. After Valentines day, it was party time in Oshawott - oops sorry, I mean Oshawa kekeke - and basically there's been no real chance to do any blogging.
But fear not!

Valentines day was really nice for me!
Ohohoho~~!
Let's just say I have bestowed upon my loved one, the Zora's Sapphire!

Zere shall be much of ze blogging once April comes around! I'll continue to post a few times a week regardless, at least most of the time.

いっぱい楽しんでね!
